Building connections around the world

The National LDS Homeschool Association exists to facilitate networking and communication, and to provide resources unique to the LDS homeschooling community. At LDS-NHA, we support the freedom of families to choose home education as a viable family-based educational alternative. We value you, and recognize your unique, individual contribution to the success of homeschooling. The National LDS Homeschool Association is dedicated to making a difference in the homeschool community, one family at a time. We do this through various resources now available on our website and we are continually expanding the resources we have here, so please check back often.

Support Groups and Websites

One of the important parts of the LDS-NHA is to get to know the groups and people around the country (and beyond). Locating the groups that are already functioning and finding out what they are doing is a big step toward meeting that goal. If you represent an LDS homeschool support group of any kind, please take some time to tell us about your group.

Conferences

Conferences are a highlight of the year to help with motivation, information and curriculum resources. It is great to see a growing number of conferences being planned around the country. Large or small, it fills a very real need for many homeschoolers old and new. If you are planning a conference, let us know so we can help you get the word out and if you need help with planning a conference, we could help there as well.

LDS Homeschool Conferences.

 Curriculum Resources

To aid you in your homeschooling adventure, many curriculum resources are available. Latter-day Saint homeschoolers often wonder if specific resources will conflict with their LDS beliefs or meet the 13th Article of Faith challenge. To help you find resources that are published with LDS standards in mind, we have created a list of Resources for LDS Curriculum.

Off-Site Featured Articles

Every few weeks we feature on our front page a special article which we would like to share with you from LDS General Conference addresses, BYU devotionals, Church Education System addresses, Ensign articles and so on. These articles focus on issues that will be uplifting and helpful for you as you teach your families. If you missed any of these articles while they were featured on our home page, or would like to read them again, you can find the entire list here.

The National LDS Homeschool Association has no official affiliation with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints , but as members we value our individual testimonies and strive to live up to the teachings of the gospel and hope that is reflected in what we publish in our newsletters and on this website.
